Machine Description

The universal boring and facing head is a precision tool that, thanks to its multi-position tool mounting system and automatic tool slide feed, allows a wide range of machining operations, including:

  • Boring holes over a wide diameter range,
  • Transverse turning of front and rear faces of holes and turning external surfaces,
  • Grooving operations,
  • Internal and external turning by combining the machine spindle feed with the head’s automatic tool slide feed,
  • Thread cutting,
  • Multi-tool machining, and more.
