Construction and technology
The conventional lathe TYTAN 750 Vario is built on a robust cast-iron bed 135mm wide, providing excellent vibration damping. The lathe spindle with 29mm bore is mounted on precision bearings, ensuring high turning accuracy. The lathe motor (0.75/0.9kW) and milling motor (0.6kW) operate on single-phase 230V power, simplifying installation in workshop environments.
The milling spindle, fitted with a MT2 taper and 50mm quill travel, enables accurate drilling and angular milling (head tilt ±90°). The mechanical depth indicator improves drilling precision, reducing errors and material waste.
Precision and efficiency
This machine performs a wide range of operations: turning, drilling, threading (metric 0.2–3.5mm and inch 8–56TPI), groove milling, chamfering and angular machining. Automatic longitudinal feed in six ranges and precise guideways ensure repeatability and excellent surface finish.
