Product characteristics:
The “S” system is the most widely used clamping system for indexable inserts. It is characterised by simplicity, high reliability, very good repeatability of cutting-edge position and the ability to clamp small inserts.
The main application area for tools with inserts clamped in the “S” system is finishing external surfaces and hole surfaces (especially small-diameter holes), although they are also used for roughing.
