Machine description:

• KS series cutting machines are the only machines in their class that allow cutting both left and right - all you have to do is set and close the vice. Once the material is in place, the user can set the angle and rotate the arc without having to re-open the vice or move the rod. The vice slides laterally across the work table, providing quick access.

• The design of the cutting frame made of electro-welded steel with a tubular cross-section guarantees high stability during cutting.
  Like all IMET cutting machines, the KS model is equipped with high band tension (2000 kg/cm²) and a saw tilted by 6°, which improves material feed, reduces load and optimizes cutting even for large cross-sections and solid materials.

• The wide work table provides full support for the material. The machine is very user-friendly and easy to use thanks to the automatic stop system in the range from 0° to 60° left/right and the angular scale on the table, which makes it easy to set the cutting position.

• To increase cutting precision, IMET cutters are equipped with a system to detect the angle of deviation from the center.

• The mechanical material detection system ensures a quick approach to the material, automatically detecting the first point of contact, and the end of the cut is managed by a microswitch in the tape guide, which ensures precise tape positioning thanks to hard rollers and auxiliary bearings.

• All parameters and work settings are controlled by an independent, mobile console with LED indicators for tape tension, tape guard, motor overheating and checking the electrical voltage.

• The console allows you to set the machine's operating parameters: tape speed, descent speed and end of cycle management (can be set: arc return with stopped tape, arc return with tape movement, or end of cycle without arc return).

• It is possible to increase cutting efficiency by using a 4 kW motor, hydraulic tape tensioner and high tension hydraulic system (2200 kg/cm²).
