The CORMAK laser cleaners effectively remove rust, paint coatings, lacquers, operational residues, oxides, oil deposits, resins and other difficult contaminants. Adjustable pulse energy, frequency and duration allow the process to be adapted for both precise, selective cleaning of moulds, dies, tools and precision components, as well as for efficient preparation of larger surfaces for subsequent processes (welding, painting, bonding). The non-contact nature of the process minimises the risk of mechanical damage, microcracks or substrate deformation.
The use of JPT sources in MOPA mode provides a wide frequency and pulse width adjustment range, allowing optimal energy density matching to the type of contamination and base material. The long fibre cable increases working freedom at greater distances from the main unit — particularly appreciated by users working with large structures, production lines or installed components (steel structures, moulds, façades, machine parts). All models operate at a wavelength of 1064 nm, ensuring high effectiveness on standard industrial materials such as structural and stainless steels, aluminium alloys and many other technical substrates.
The CL series devices are air-cooled and do not require process gases or abrasive materials, simplifying installation, reducing operating costs, and making the cleaning process more environmentally friendly. High scanning speeds and adjustable beam parameters shorten processing times compared to traditional methods such as sandblasting, shot blasting or chemical cleaning, while maintaining consistent results and excellent surface quality.
The CORMAK CL500 series represents a complete solution for manufacturing companies, tool shops, maintenance departments, subcontractors of industrial cleaning services, and restoration specialists working with structures, moulds and components requiring high surface quality. With a wide parameter range, stable JPT sources and a mobile design, these lasers are ideal both as stationary cleaning stations and as portable service tools used directly at the client’s site.
