RECI W2 Laser Tube – high cutting quality and long-term stability

RECI W2 is a proven CO₂ laser tube designed for precise cutting and engraving while maintaining stable beam parameters. The RECI design and quality control ensure a service life of approx. 12,000 hours, which reduces operating costs and minimises the risk of downtime.

Why the W2 improves cutting quality and repeatability

  • Stable power = clean edge – maintaining the operating temperature within the recommended range limits power fluctuations, resulting in smooth edges and repeatable details between production runs.
  • Power reserve – simplifies speed and pass selection and allows the processing of typical non-metal materials while maintaining a safety margin in the process.
  • Reduced risk of degradation – stable operation minimises the need to increase parameters over time, which can otherwise deteriorate cutting geometry.

Longer component lifespan

  • Tube – declared service life of approx. 12,000 hours under proper operation means fewer replacements and predictable maintenance costs.
  • Power supply and optical path – reduced thermal and electrical fluctuations result in lower stress on cooperating components.

Best practice: how to maintain stability and quality

  • Cooling – use a chiller suited to the laser’s power and workload (constant coolant temperature and flow monitoring).
  • Optics and alignment – after installing the tube, align the optical path; save reference material test results as a process profile.
  • Operation – clean the filter and coolant circuit, maintain coolant quality, ensure proper ventilation, and avoid extended operation outside the recommended temperature range.
