Designed for cooling CO₂ laser plotter tubes using a refrigeration compressor unit. The CW-5200 chiller maintains the water temperature at an optimal level, ensuring stable operating parameters for the laser tube. This cooling method provides reliable performance and protects the tube against overheating and damage. The device is ideal for companies and users for whom a laser plotter is a daily work tool.
CW-5200 is a compact chiller with a refrigeration compressor unit, designed to maintain a constant water temperature in CO₂ plotters and engravers. By stabilising the tube’s operating conditions and the cooling circuit, it protects the source, power supply and connections from thermal overloads. The result? Longer tube life, less downtime and consistent edge quality during cutting and engraving.
Why the CW-5200 improves safety and process quality
Component safety: constant temperature limits beam power fluctuations and reduces the risk of tube overheating; built-in flow and temperature alarms and compressor protection help prevent failures early.
Extended system lifespan: operation within the recommended temperature range slows tube and seal degradation, while stable coolant flow protects the optical path components.
Improved cutting/engraving quality: stable power = cleaner edge, less residue and fewer reworks; ensures consistent results across production batches.
Continuous operation: active compressor cooling helps maintain production rhythm during longer cycles and varying ambient conditions.
Functions and user convenience
Cooling compressor unit (0.59 kW) provides effective heat dissipation (cooling capacity 1.7 kW).
Alarms and indicators: flow and temperature monitoring, alarm output terminal, water level indicator and temperature display panel.
Easy integration: compact dimensions, 10 mm connections, air inlet filter and transparent water inlet/outlet fittings.
Good operational practices (for maximum service life)
Use clean coolant, monitor level and circuit flow; regularly clean the air inlet filter.
Ensure free ventilation around the unit — the heat exchanger and fan must have space.
Use alarms: low flow or excessive temperature indicates the need for maintenance before cut quality is affected.
Applications
CO₂ plotters and engravers operating in continuous or variable cycles, where thermal stabilisation and repeatable quality are required. (Always verify chiller capacity against laser source power and workload.)
