Construction and technology
The CORMAK WS16 metal bench drill has been designed for durability and strength. The headstock, column, base and table are made from top-grade seasoned castings, providing exceptional rigidity of the entire structure. The spindle and transmission shafts are made from hardened and heat-treated steel, minimising wear during extended operation. The drive mechanism uses a belt transmission – valued for its quiet and stable running.
Precision and performance
With a 5-step spindle speed control ranging from 480 to 1,875 rpm and a Morse taper MK2, the machine allows the operator to select optimal parameters for the material and drilling diameter. Maximum drilling diameter in steel: 16 mm, while tapping is possible up to M10. The clear control panel and spindle rotation switch simplify operation and enhance process efficiency.
