IMET VELOX 350AF-E circular saw

Machine description:

VELOX 350 AF-E uses a manual selection system to set one cutting length at a time. The manual selector has a knob and a digital display.

• Once the cutting length is set, the user can start and manage the automatic process via the LCD display; the PLC allows modification of all main settings during operation, making its operation easy, intuitive and offers a configurable interface.

• The feeder operates at a speed of 200 mm/s, and the maximum stroke is 520 mm with a minimum stroke of 15 mm. The standard waste length is 355 mm, but it is possible to reduce it to 220 mm. Among the main functions managed by the PLC, the user can set up to 999 cutting lengths and from 1 to 29 feed cycle repetitions.

• Double-sided clamping vice with rapid movement on the work table; the jaws made of aluminium are removable and shaped to be used with a wide range of different profiles.

• VELOX has automatic angular locks at 0°, 15°, 30° and 45° on both sides with a scale on the work table, which allows the workflow to be optimised and always allows the best positioning before cutting.

• User safety is ensured thanks to the complete blade guard; the machine is also equipped with a chip extraction system, adjustable length limiter. The cutting head is equipped with two springs, thanks to which it can return to the starting position. Starting a new cut is easy and intuitive thanks to the start-stop button on the handle.
