The band saw allows cutting in both manual and automatic modes. Manual mode allows all operations to be performed manually from the machine's control panel. Automatic mode – once the machine is turned on, the entire cutting cycle, i.e., securing the workpiece in the vise, moving it to the specified dimension to the cutting blade, lowering the cutting arm, and raising it to the desired height after cutting, occurs without the need for operator intervention.

Cutting parameters such as the number of workpieces being cut, their dimensions, cutting belt speed, and arm descent speed are set on the control panel. The machine will stop automatically upon completing a series of cuts, running out of material, breaking the cutting belt, or any other malfunction identified by the band saw's control system.

The body of the band saw is made of cast iron mounted on a rigid, spatial plate construction housing. The steel frame is inclined at an angle of 3 degrees relative to the surface of the feeding table, which is particularly advantageous when cutting rectangular elements and profiles.

The hydraulic tensioning of the blade allows for optimal operating conditions of the blade. In case of a blade breakage, the band saw stops automatically. Accurate guiding of the blade is ensured by guides consisting of guide bearings and inserts made of sintered carbide.

The maximum cutting parameters and extended blade life are ensured by the cooling system and cleaning brush. The hydraulically forced descent of the arm is regulated over a wide range by a precise throttling valve. The rapid feed system allows for reduced cutting time of individual elements. The hydraulic material feeding system ensures a fully automatic working cycle of the band saw.

The controller equipped with an LCD display in POLISH allows for easy programming, saw operation, signals the end of the material, communicates errors, and informs about the number of cut sections after the programmed time has elapsed. The maximum length of material feeding in one stroke is 500 mm with an accuracy of +/- 0.2 mm per stroke.
