What is a bending machine?
A bending machine is a specialised industrial device whose main purpose is the plastic forming of materials such as tubes and profiles through bending. Depending on the model, bending machines can process different materials – from lightweight aluminium to durable steel.
The base of the machine is a heavy-duty frame. Mounted on it are rollers or dies through which the material is guided, and then subjected to pressure or rotation. The most important component is the drive system, which can be manual, hydraulic or electric. Depending on the drive type and the level of automation, bending machines make it possible to achieve a variety of results – from simple shapes to complex curves and coils. These machines can be adapted to work with different cross-sections and diameters, making them indispensable in workshops, production plants and construction sites.
Applications of bending machines in workshops and industry
Thanks to their versatility, bending machines are used in many industrial fields, including construction, automotive, furniture manufacturing and metalworking. They allow precise shaping of structural components, the creation of complex load-bearing structures and decorative elements. In the automotive industry, they are used, for example, for forming exhaust pipes, frames and other structural parts. A steel tube bender enables the production of strong elements with high mechanical strength. In the construction industry, bending machines are used for the production of architectural components such as handrails, balustrades and frames that must meet strict safety standards. In the furniture and decorative industries, profile benders are used to create elegant, rounded forms that give products a distinctive appearance. Bending machines are also employed in the manufacture of tubes and profiles for hydraulic installations.
Bending machines in the CORMAK range
As a renowned manufacturer of industrial machines, CORMAK offers a wide selection of bending machines suitable for both small workshops and large industrial plants.
Three-roller bending machines
Among the popular models available in the CORMAK range are three-roller bending machines. These devices, also known as section and tube rolling machines, allow uniform bending of large-diameter materials such as steel tubes and profiles. The three rollers ensure precise forming without the risk of damage or deformation. The adjustable distance between the rollers makes the roller bender highly versatile and suitable for processing both thin- and thick-walled tubes.
Mandrel-free bending machines
For more advanced applications, CORMAK offers mandrel-free bending machines. These devices are the perfect solution for bending tubes and profiles of various shapes and sizes without the use of an internal mandrel. They are highly flexible in shaping materials, allowing the creation of complex forms and curves that are difficult to achieve with other metal forming methods.
All bending machines available in our range are designed for maximum ergonomics and ease of use. By choosing industrial machinery from CORMAK, you can be sure that you are investing in equipment that not only meets your expectations but also improves the efficiency and quality of production in your workshop.
