The RÖNTGEN bi-alfa cobalt M51 band saw blade is made of an alloyed steel backing of about 4% chromium content and an HSS-M51 cutting edge. Due to a high cobalt and tungsten content of the cutting egde, it has a high thermal and mechnical wear resistance.
