- Attach the spindle adapter: With the power off, attach the adapter to the tapping head spindle. Make sure the adapter is properly positioned and firmly attached.
- Loosen the joints: Make sure all joints on the adapter are loose. If the head can be rotated 360 degrees, loosen the joints on this part as well. This will ensure that the adapter moves freely and can be precisely positioned at the right angle.
- Attach a magnet to the workpiece: Attach a magnet to the workpiece. The magnet should be properly attached and stable to ensure reliable and precise positioning.
