Device description

The Cormak planer and thicknesser is a solid and well-thought-out design that allows for considerable adjustment and mechanical processing of hard and soft wood. The adjustment itself is also relatively simple and changing the planer to thicknesser operation takes a few seconds. The relatively heavy weight of the machine (148 kg) ensures high stability, which ensures safe, vibration-free operation with additional anti-vibration feet.

PLANING MACHINE ADVANTAGES

• Both planer tables are made of high-quality ground cast iron and have a polished surface in the Ra 1.6 class.
• The shaft cover can be positioned virtually freely, changing its height, angle and extension.
• The angle guide can be set in the range from 90° - 45°.
• Additional silencers are used in the planing tables to reduce the noise level.

THICKNESS SCANNER ADVANTAGES

• The thicknessing table is made of high-quality ground cast iron and has a polished working surface.
• The height of the thicknessing table is adjusted using a large and convenient knob, which, after setting the appropriate height, can be locked with an additional eccentric lever.
• The planing thickness can be reduced to a maximum of 190 mm.
• The machine is equipped with rollers (driving and receiving), which are placed very close to the shaft, thanks to which we can pass even relatively short elements through the thicknesser.
• The drive of the feed rollers is based on a chain, guaranteeing non-slip work (no "toothing" of the processed material).
