Machine description:

  • The main advantage of the 4-roll rolling machine is the ability to obtain a finished cylinder in one rolling process. Both edges are bent before rolling or at the beginning of bending on one side and at the end of bending on the other.
  • During the entire cycle, the edge of the sheet metal is clamped between the two central rolls, and then the sheet is wrapped around the upper roll using the side rolls. The sheet is formed immediately without additional adjustment of the edges of the finished product. This allows the length of straight sections to be reduced to 1.5 times the thickness of the sheet metal.
  • The bending process is as follows: the lower shaft moves upwards and holds the sheet metal stably on the upper shaft, while the side shafts perform precise bending by moving up-down arc movement on both sides independently of each other. This creates a perfect, cylindrical form.
  • During the bending and bending process, the sheet metal is held securely and does not slip thanks to the constant and reliable pressure between the upper and lower rolls. This ensures high repeatability and accuracy in series production.
  • The bending plate can be fed from both sides. The rolling machine can be placed close to the wall, which saves workshop space by feeding the sheet from any side.
  • On a 4-roller - as opposed to a 3-roller - bending the same sheet will beup to 50% faster and more efficient due to the constant presence of the sheet metal on the machine from the moment of feeding until the receipt of the finished part. After bending, immediate bending takes place without additional movement of the sheet in the working area of the machine.
  • Bending cone-shaped details is much more efficient and faster on a 4-roller machine. The side rollers are mounted at an angle to bend the cone, and the lower roller securely holds the sheet metal.
  • Only a 4-roll rolling mill can fully and effectively use the capabilities of theNC controller and CNC system because the movement of the workpiece is controlled at every stage. Thanks to this, when using NC control systems, it is possible to obtain rectangular parts. However, in the case of CNC control, all shapes are possible, including elliptical, rectangular, arc and parallel sides.

  • Reinforced and welded structure made of ST-52 steel ensures stability and high quality of production for long-term use.
  • Inductively hardened carbon steel rolls with high tensile strength.
  • On rolling mills with a roll diameter of 150-250 mm the upper roll is driven by an electric motor, the lower one by coupling the upper roll with a gear wheel, the side rolls are not driven.
  • On rolling mills with a roll diameter of 275-550 mm the upper and lower rolls are driven by hydraulic motors equipped with an anti-overload system, the side rolls are not driven.
  • The two side rollers move in an arcing motion, making a double compression movement using hydraulic pistons. The roller operation system ensures the perfect cylinder shape.
  • The lower pressure roller is set in a specific position thanks to hydraulic pistons.
  • The finished sheet is removed by lifting the upper roller using the hydraulic system.
  • Automatic - central lubrication system.
  • Side rollers enablebending oblique conical forms.
  • Digital display of the side and bottom roller positions shows the roller positions.
  • Two-stage speed setting for power and torque adjustment (only from model 4 RMH2050/280 and above).
  • Hydraulic roller balancing system for optimal bending quality and repeatability.
  • Optionally, the rolling mill can be equipped with central and side supports for large sheets and diameters.
  • NC and CNC control available, allowing the production of complex forms.
