In the cyclone, contaminated air falls into a cylindrical chamber and swirls in it, as a result of which the components heavier than the gas in which they float are thrown out due to the centrifugal force. As a result of rubbing against the walls of the cyclone, they lose speed (kinetic energy) and fall due to the gravity, with the lightest particles of sawdust being filtered through the dust insert eventually falling into the bag and with clean air flying out of the sides of the filter.
