The CORMAK H - 350 RHA column band saw is a highly efficient machine for cutting bars, pipes and profiles made of steel, cast iron and non-ferrous metals in an automatic cycle. The solid body and the strong frame of the saw in combination with the column structure provides excellent rigidity and an exceptional level of stability during the cutting process, even of the most difficult metalworking.
The cutter enables manual and automatic cutting.
Manual mode allows you to perform all activities manually from the desktop of the machine.
Automatic mode - after switching on the machine, the entire cutting cycle, i.e. clamping the cut detail in a vice, shifting it to a specific size to the cutting band, lowering the cutting arm and raising it to the desired height after the cut is finished, without the need for an operator.
Cutting parameters, such as the number of pieces of cut details, their dimensions, the speed of the cutting band, the speed of the arm drop, are set on the control panel. The machine stops automatically when the series is cut, the saw band breaks or any other failure identified by the control system of the cutter.
The machine body is made of a cast iron set on a rigid, spatial structure of the plate housing. Inside the housing there are: a hydraulic unit, a coolant tank with a pump and a chip feeder. The steel structure of the frame is inclined at an angle of 3 degrees in relation to the surface of the feeding table, which is particularly advantageous when cutting rectangular elements and profiles.
The hydraulically forced lowering of the arm is regulated over a wide range by a precise throttle valve. The rapid feed system allows to shorten the cutting time of individual elements.
The hydraulic material feeding system ensures a fully automatic cycle of the machine. The controller equipped with an LCD display enables programming the saw operation, signals the end of the material, communicates errors and informs about the number of cut sections after the programmed time. The maximum length of material feeding in one stroke is 500 mm with an accuracy of +/- 0.2 mm per stroke.
